Excellence in Dance
Beginning his second decade as Artistic Director, Gen Horiuchi is elevating Saint Louis Ballet to new heights of artistic excellence and the world is taking notice. Saint Louis Ballet's past several seasons at the Touhill Performing Arts Center included the annual holiday classic The Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Cinderella, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, masterpieces by Balanchine, Twyla Tharp, Christopher d'Amboise and innovative new works by Horiuchi himself, Emery LeCrone, Pam Tanowitz, Brian Enos and again Christopher d'Amboise who was named Principal Guest Choreographer in 2013. 


Apprenticeship Program
The Saint Louis Ballet Apprenticeship Program was piloted in May 2014. It offers training and performance opportunities to artists ages 18-20 years that has resulted in careers as professional ballet dancers while simultaneously strengthening the artistic model for the Saint Louis Ballet (SLB). More about the program
